Friday, 13 September saw John Correia our greenskeeper extraordinaire, along with a number of club members hard at work preparing for this weekend’s Pro-Am Champ of Champs Open Pairs Tournament.
In some of the following photos black ink is shown being laid on the green to mark the centre of each rink. This allows for a quick, easy, and accurate laying of the mat and centering of the jack.
Various areas of operation are being attended to including the greens, bar and kitchen. Food services are well underway with Shelley Sidel taking orders for what should be a scrumptious dinner of fish & chips on Saturday.
While play on Saturday might involve some rain, nothing is dampening the enthusiasm of these members who are determined to create the best possible playing and dining conditions.
