What a great day we all had on Sunday afternoon. Some 36 visitors from the Rotary Club joined 16 members from Oak Bay Bowling Club for an afternoon of fun on the greens. After a brief introduction to bowling from Louise Mason, club members joined with the rotary members into teams of 3 to get some practice, iron out some finer points of bowls and jack delivery and then had an hour of triples with club members leading the way. Everyone had a good time. We were all treated to pizza after the games. Lots of “thank yous” to go around at the end. Several Rotary members said they were thinking about the possibility of joining the club. All in all a good day. Thanks to all the helpers and visitors!
