CONGRATULATIONS
FAITH MAGWOOD
Faith recently received The Valued Elder Recognition Award (VERA) in a ceremony at UVIC. The Family Caregivers Network nominated her for this award. Faith was a founding member of this Society. As a social worker in 1983 she saw a need and responded and the society was formed in 1989. Faith has given many hours of volunteer service to this organization over the years. She also saw a need for resources for single parents, so she along with some colleagues founded the Single Parent Resource Centre.
