A new BBQ shed is nearing completion. David Anderson, Ian Capon, Lorne Cowley and Brent Merchant spent 10 hours on Thursday August 31 building the new structure. There are still a few more hours of work left before it will be completed.

Why build a new structure you might be asking and where did the money come from? Moving the BBQ’s from the old shed to the concrete pad near the kitchen was basically shaking the BBQ’s apart. We needed to store them in close proximity to the kitchen and in doing so we will be able to use the BBQ’s on a more regular basis and greatly extend their lifecycle. The money for this new structure and the water cooler was funded by the 50/50 draws we hold at the club. The padlock securing the door has the same code as the locks on the Carnarvon and Anderson Houses.
