We are excited to let you know that Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club has been approved to partake in the Smile Card Fundraising Program! This year’s participation will run from April 26, 2015 to April 30, 2016, and your support of the club by using the Thrifty Foods Smile Cards will help us to raise up to $3,000 over the next year.  These funds will be used to help us purchase a automatic defibrillator and a commercial dishwasher for the Club. Simile Cards are like Starbucks or Tim Horton cards, periodically “load them up” at the Thrifty’s cash register and use them to purchase items at Thrifty Foods stores.  Five percent of the dollar value loaded to the cards will be donated to the club over the next year to the $3000 maximum. If you don’t have a Thrifty Food’s Smile Card and want to help the club this way, please contact Mark Lee via email at lee3ms1g@hotmail.com to make arrangements to get a Smile Card. Be sure to check the web site fund raising thermometer to check our progress!
