The team of Dave Mathie and Steve Foster of Juan de Fuca LBC, wearing colourful Tiger Bowls shirts, bowled their way to victory in this year’s Oak Bay Jubilee Pacific Pairs. The winner wasn’t determined until the final end of the final game. The large crowd of spectators was treated to some top tier bowling.

Second place in the A Event went to Harnam Grewal and Linda Cowie of the host club. Finishing third were David Gardner and Dennis Verge of Gordon Head LBC. Lorne Carnes and Lynda Robbins of Canadian Pacific LBC finished fourth completing the A Event.
