This year’s Yarrow Cup Men’s Pairs again had a full complement of 16 teams, one quarter of which were from Oak Bay. Unfortunately only one of our teams finished in the prizes.
It was a well run tournament played on a fast green. The Canadian Pacific host club put on a spread of light food Saturday which was appreciated by many who worked up an appetite playing three games that day. Sunday saw the playoff games for those fortunate enough to return. The team of Brent Merchant and Eric Ballinger won the Cup.
